Hello.

This site works under Canadian law. But seems to be with mostly U. S. content.

The question: users from outside the U. S. and Canada - we are also welcome as well, or anyway target group is "U. S. and Canada only"?

Also, would langugages other than English be allowed to appear here? (At least do you have such plans one day?)

Or it's just happened on ocassion that most users are from the North America?

Hello
To help you understand the nature of this site,   the site is hosted on web servers in Florida.  It is owned and designed by a Canadian living in Toronto.  The owner and founder actually has a deep love for Greece and is planning to put more content on the site from the general mediterranean area as well.
The site is intended to be international but even though we advertise through Google ads around the world most of the members who join are either US or Canadian...
We would love to have members from the EU and other parts of Europe and Asia...  but it is very difficult for us to obtain a presence there unless we are resident there.
If you as a member are located in Europe or Asia please feel free to advertise us on websites over there that you know of or belong to... just be sure not to create spam that annoys individuals or website owners.

FOR EXAMPLE:  IF you belong to a yahoo groups or MSN Groups site in Europe somewhere and can add a link to our site in the group you are most welcome to -  be sure to mention our site is primarily english speaking however and that it is totally g-rated.

At one point we tried to establish a g-ratedguys.eu  but that requires that the owner of the domain be resident in one of the European Union countries.

There are other languages available for the general content of the site but we have chosen not to use them because there is no way to translate the content contributed by members and then it just gets confusing.   Most members are english speaking and so we center the content around the english language.
Since our moderators and reviewers are english speaking we need to request that members contribute content in English because we need to be able to evaluate the content to ensure that the site remains G-Rated.

However, that said, anyone is welcome to add links and content to their personal pages or links on the main global site to websites in Europe or content in Europe, Asia, etc.   We also definitely welcome music, movies,  photos, etc from around the world...

As for the rules we function under, well it is a combined US/Canadian site, but generally we try to remain in general compliance with international sensibilities when it comes to content.

Feel free to ask any other questions you have and we will try to answer them as soon as possible.

Great.

I was only afraid that I'm unwelcolme. In some sites, you aren't so welcome if you are outside the U. S. and Canada (ones whose main purpose is to show adverts to American and Canadian rather than providing services).

Happy to know that I'm not just tolerated here but rather welcomed!

Yes - getting into Russia may be difficult.

As example, Yahoo! and MSN aren't known in Russia at all.

Google is even not the number one site visited, and even not in the list of the first 3. (So not so much hope on Google for your site in Russia. )

Meaning free membership, an idea of separating Russia into Europan and Asian would be useful if one day you will have something like "On Continent XYZ" search. (Not sure about Turkey though in this case...)

But anyway I wish G-R G to grow. And yes, it won't be very fast, but at least the quality of people here is something!

It's a very wise decision to have only one English language to save a community international, rather than having many different language communities. Adding a few languages may only hurt - many people would say - "Why there is German and Dutch here but no my Norwegian?" - etc. It's at usual not nice to see a list (especially big one) of languages for most Europeans (and, well, Asians) if they can't find their native language.

In general, only adding French or Esperanto wouldn't hurt much, in my opinion, as they, with English, are recognized as international languages everywhere. (As example, the fact of having a Spanish version would in Eastern Europe mean that you are mainly an American site, German version may make an incorrect impression that you are European rather than American.)

Though - not unless you can speak this languages well!

PS Will keep in mind to promote you when possible to people I know, and by links as well if it would be suitable.
