Yes - getting into Russia may be difficult.
As example, Yahoo! and MSN aren't known in Russia at all.
Google is even not the number one site visited, and even not in the list of the first 3. (So not so much hope on Google for your site in Russia.
)
Meaning free membership, an idea of separating Russia into Europan and Asian would be useful if one day you will have something like "On Continent XYZ" search. (Not sure about Turkey though in this case...)
But anyway I wish G-R G to grow. And yes, it won't be very fast, but at least the quality of people here is something!
It's a very wise decision to have only one English language to save a community international, rather than having many different language communities. Adding a few languages may only hurt - many people would say - "Why there is German and Dutch here but no my Norwegian?" - etc. It's at usual not nice to see a list (especially big one) of languages for most Europeans (and, well, Asians) if they can't find their native language.
In general, only adding French or Esperanto wouldn't hurt much, in my opinion, as they, with English, are recognized as international languages everywhere. (As example, the fact of having a Spanish version would in Eastern Europe mean that you are mainly an American site, German version may make an incorrect impression that you are European rather than American.)
Though - not unless you can speak this languages well!
PS Will keep in mind to promote you when possible to people I know, and by links as well if it would be suitable.
